gallery by the castle
Heidenreichstein
She enjoyed painting from an early age, but was unable to fulfill her secret wish for
professional and family reasons. It was not until she was 60 that Katharina found the time and
peace she needed in the Zurich Oberland to start painting. According to the motto: It's never
too late to become who you always wanted to be.
Her art training is mainly self-taught and she has attended individual courses to perfect
individual techniques. Katharina paints figurative-abstract works. In her pictures, she combines
various techniques such as structure, acrylic and oil painting into one work of art.
Water worlds, natural beauty and images of people characterize her artistic work. She
especially likes to play with light and shadow to create emotional touches and positive energy.
It is important to her to place the viewer in a room with harmony and a joyful atmosphere.
Through a number of exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain, she was able to draw
the attention of galleries and art lovers to her artistic work. Among other things, she was able
to arouse the interest of Raphael and Simone Erni's Galleria Morcote in her paintings with
Tuscan creations.
In the last months she was mainly busy with painting orders. She appreciates the dialogue
with her clients and the challenge of combining customer wishes with her style. Take the
opportunity to talk to the artist personally.
