“Spirits is a photo from Northern Norway. I was on my way to my childhood home and passed a
dark tunnel in the mountains. Suddenly I saw a reindeer in the tunnel. I stopped the car. Held my
breath. Rolled down the window. And took the picture. The reindeer stood completely still, it was
almost as if it came out of the mountainwall. This incident inspired me to work further with the photo
in photoshop - and in this way “Spirits” were created. In the photo I try to describe the blurry
boundaries between what we can experience as the physical reality and the spiritual level of
existence questioning; Is our physical exitance just an illusion, or a mirror where we can see into
other realities? We just have to stop, be silent, and the magic happens”.
